Pasco Students Build 25th Team Pasco Home, Honored at Dedication Ceremony
Pasco School District proudly celebrated the dedication of Team Pasco Home 2025 on Wednesday, May 28, marking the 25th student-built home completed over the past 28 years. The event honored the hard work and collaboration of students, staff, community members, and local business partners who made this year’s milestone project possible.
Held at 8413 Ashen Drive in Pasco, the dedication ceremony drew attendees from across the community, including families, industry partners, and district leaders. Following the ceremony, the 2,016-square-foot home was officially listed on the market for $524,900.
The home showcases an open-concept design with three bedrooms, a flex room, a spacious laundry area, a covered patio, and an extra-deep two-car garage—features all crafted by students in the district’s Construction Trades program.
Preparing Future Trades Professionals
As demand for skilled labor continues to rise across the country, Pasco School District’s Construction Trades program is helping prepare the next generation of workers with real-world, hands-on experience. One standout success this year was Chiawana High School student Gavin Frank, who was offered an apprentice carpenter internship with Bouten Construction, starting at over $40 per hour with full benefits. Gavin will soon contribute to the construction of Pasco’s new aquatic center—a testament to how the program opens doors to meaningful careers.
Craftsmanship on Display
Following the formal dedication, guests enjoyed a student-led tour of the home and were invited to return later that afternoon for a public open house. Students were on hand to answer questions, share about their work, and showcase the pride and skill that went into building Team Pasco Home 2025.
Pasco School District extends its gratitude to the community and partners who have supported this program for nearly three decades—and to the students whose craftsmanship and dedication continue to leave a lasting mark on Pasco neighborhoods.
